Congrats!! I just dropped a load at West Allis last night. I'm driving a lot right now. About 500 a day. My trainer is out of hours, and he will not gain any legitimate drive time back for a few days. Thanks for all the post!

I think we passed you today. Perry knows Curt. I think you were rolling out of the lot we were rolling into when we picked up our bottles .

Hey man, thanks! Hope you go out soon.

When you first get with your trainer how many miles should you expect to drive a day?
-
It'll depend on the trainer. Perry started me off a little slower, til I got used to driving every day. I was getting aroun 300/day the first week.
-
All depends on each person. Pretty sure 1st day I drove 450+ but lot will depend on load situation and pickup time/situation. It all comes down to this....if you are tired you tell your trainer and you get out of the driver seat plain and simple. Believe me it's easy to tell from passenger seat when someone is starting to get tired and I don't want the students trying to "be tough" and keep driving. Also want honesty. If I see a head nod and I'm in passenget seat I'm not going to be happy. It's unsafe and trying to be tough and in turn risk my safety will be quickest way off my truck.Steelersjunkie Thanks this.
