You're not going to get a tanker job without a tank endorsement.

I'm surprised that a thread asking for advice made it two pages with nobody recommending CRST, Swift or CR England.

    I'm proud of you fellas.

You are close to Boston, Combatzone markets there, Seafood and Produce primarily. Just walking down the central avenue of that market should tell you all sorts of trucking companies that run into there.

Visiting the big truckstop in Foxboro off US 1 is a source of information as well.

I cannot give you motivation for this or that or something else if you do not express an ambition. Do you have fun with 18 wheeling? Do you like Flatbed? Or any of the other trailer type work related to such?

Mass also has a major Sysco distribution off 95, I forget exactly where it is now, but it's south of Boston and cannot be missed. It implies reefer work. You can get produce all the way from the west coast potentially while still running as a Van back west with reefer off.

Get tanker and hazmat do a year with Schneider tanker then go to Trimac where you can make 80 to 100k.

You will also need those endorsements for most any gigs in van etc.

I enjoy it yes. I haven't had much experience with driving only through school. I have minor 24 - 27ft flatbed row truck experience and I did that for about 4 years on off didn't mind it some days were bad but I survived! I expand my options everyday I do research I'm just looking to start off on the right foot!

Go for it and just do some time and you can always give them a year anyways for better money with the experience and you will get broke in the right time of year.
