This is an ex-Penske unit I've had for 5 years. It's ready to go to work right now. My new one came in, so now I have one too many trailers and need to let this one go. It is currently located in Gainesville, GA.
Thermo King SB-210 with under 11,000 hrs on it. Recent head gasket, new alternator, recent 3-way valve rebuild, both vibrasorbers/service valves replaced a year ago.
All 8 tires are virgin Goodyears (lopro 22.5) with around 50% left. All 4 brakes were done last year, still 80%. All 4 air bags changed out beginning of this year. New dolly legs installed last year. Most lighting has been swapped for LEDs. Everything works.
The only negative is some minor floor repairs (pinholes welded up). Floor is solid, no cracks, and not wavy. Interior is in surprisingly good condition for it's age. I've had a poly liner installed on the walls above the kickplates to prevent damage (visible in the close up picture of the interior). The outside.. well it is an old trailer and won't win any awards at the truck show. It's solid, straight, and no leaks.
This will be a cash sale. I don't want to tote a note, don't want to do a rental, and don't need a broker.
Thanks for checking it out.

oops...copied/pasted from a post made elsewhere, the price was in a separate field.
$12,000.mp4694330 and lovesthedrive Thank this. -
I saw that other post. there's a bunch of other pages like that one ifn you're looking at other avenues.

Thanks. I thought about doing more, but short attention span means I'll forget where they all are LOL. Then have to clean up once I find a buyer.
I figured I'd see if I got any nibbles with here and FB, then probably drop one on truckpaper. Might do craigslist, but it's so full of scammers. I'm on the fence with dealing with that.
The good news is: I'm not in a rush to sell it. It's paid for and the insurance is practically nothing. Just go to swap it out every now and then and get a load in it, or at least stop by and let it run a while. Not good for reefers to sit for weeks on end.
I also got the word out to the local chicken mafia. Hauling birds is a surprisingly small world, I've found. -
I've had mixed results with Craigslist, and the Facebook pages as well. I see lots of stuff for sale: plenty of junk that's overpriced, plenty of decent looking stuff that's overpriced. Seems like a lot of people are emotionally attached/really want to keep stuff.
I've bought quite a few pieces from Craigslist and truck paper.
Yours seems plenty fair.
Good luck with the sale.RedForeman Thanks this. -
Hi, I've been mulling about the idea of buying a small fleet of trailers to rent/lease out for a little passive income on the side. I'm trying to find some information on doing this. Thought I'd start on here as Google didn't reveal much. If you have any ideas or suggestions, they would be greatly appreciated.

Figured I'd give this thing a bump to the top. I haven't been in a hurry to sell as I have put it to use while getting some repairs done on my other older unit. So it now has a couple hundred more hours on it.
Now that my other trailer is ready and going back in service, this one needs a new home LOL. FWIW my published location is not exactly where this unit is parked, but near by. It will be at my terminal parking in Norcross GA at least for the upcoming week. Later, I will probably beg a loaner parking space from one of my friends in Gainesville GA.
