I'm reaching out to the old schoolers as I am to find info on an actual injection pump rebuilder... I've hit brick walls every direction I turn with this. The build is a 3406C block with a B water jacketed cooler in a 1984 Pete 359. Every guy that says he can build one turns out to be full of ----. I've been running electronic pumps for so long that I've lost track of the guys that can do this and Caterpillar is not an option for this anymore. I'd appreciate any info on builders, and I plan on talking to Brett at Wilkins Oklahoma Truck Supply in the AM to see what he has for info since he owns some numbered 359s. I'm so fed up with this problem that I'm ready to pull the engine and radiator and replace it with a 6nz... Any ideas my brothers would be so appreciated. Thanks, Bob

Dying breed, those that know how....those that can run the rack ( correctly ) on a Yamaha.....those that even know what a triple nickel or a 903 is....and of course those that can handle 2 sticks lol

Man I worked on more triple nickel cummins in them ol scrapers than I care to member. Euclid was a poor man's machine lol. I own a 6an4 set up. The Yamaha is above me though. I do remember the sequence and have the height tools though for the 53, 71, and 92 series Detroit's lol. Sorry to high jack your thread Bob and not offer any help I have always done my own pump work.

The company I deal with most is an ADS, association of diesel specialists, member. They are in East Georgia and their number is 706 790 8828. I do not know where you are at but there should be an ADS member qualified to help you out in your area.

Sure do love to see those old cabinovers... but I gotta admit at 55, I really don't ever want to climb into one again. There's definitely tougher guys than me out there...
