Flatbedding is not about surviivng. It's actually EXCELLING. If you become a sort of a hero Flatbedder you stand to haul certain loads that are a privileged to haul. A full up T34 comes to mind once, need a gooseneck for him. Pulled him away for refurbish, rebuild shop so that our children's children will seee what Freedom bought then.

I have seen flatbed trucks with independently driven rear axles come through town with loads that are like 20 feet high. They have their own crew to pull down all of the traffic lights and then reset them behind the tractor and trailer. Pretty insane to watch. That's the type of thing that made me want to go into flatbed. I don't really want to spend my life dealing with frozen meat or bumping docks at Home Depot and Walmart. I want to shut down whole city blocks in my wake.

I used my hazmat endorsement on my first gig, dragging a van all over the country for pennies a mile lol

It's a start. Britton would probably be better though for flatbed.
Did you apply to the other companies I listed in Post #10

If you already have your CDL, I would try Melton. Don't know your home situation, but the benefits look amazing and the pay ain't bad either. Way better than any of the so called starters.

Truck driving is dumb. Trade in that Class A for a motorcycle endorsement and do the Easy Rider route ;)

I didn't apply to any as I am at work most of the day and already have a bunch of apps out now .. My MVR isn't that great I never had an accident or anything criminal but I have altered ride height, and a few window tint tickets

Those tickets aren't anything to worry about. Those I listed are some of the better companies for new drivers so if you can, apply to them. All of us that post on here a lot want to see you and other new drivers get started out right and make good money from day one. Take care.

Don't try to read between the lines or rank companies by order that Chinatown suggests. One has nothing to do with the other. TMC is TMC is TMC. Savvy? There has to be a thousand outfits in America like TMC just gotta find them that's all.
