I just avoid logging sleeper altogether unless I need it for an 8/2 split. Saves any embarrassing questions from the DOT regarding my bathroom breaks. It's none of their business whether I stand or sit to pee or whether I wipe from front to back or vice versa.
Max time you spend in sleeper birth?

Just tell him you took a dump in the floor. He probably won't want to look in there to see if you actually did.

I guess it would depend on how long the labor was ... but I've never actually heard of anyone being born in a sleeper. Doesn't mean it hasn't happened.
G13Tomcat and Cottonmouth85 Thank this. -
I thought it was a convenient place to play with the working girlsMidWest_MacDaddy Thanks this.

Hubby had a 22 hr wait after arriving (early) at Smithfield, load was at least 8 hrs late loading, he has boogey fever now, load has to be there by delivery time. This is not a 9-5 job by any means.
25(2)+2 and camionneur Thank this. -
If I have an open appt I only hit the sleeper for exactly 10hrs, no reason to stop longer... My start times normally range from 400-900, I'm always running out of my 14 due to regional deliveries so I normally stay pretty close to whatever time I leave out on Monday morning.

This right here! I can run coast to coast a day earlier and drop a load and get out by doing this.
I'm not a sunrise to sunset driver. I'll burn my hours max, all day everyday.
If I pick up a load Monday morning in Ca and have 2200 miles to go and have a delivery spot thurs or even Friday I'll go like this...
Say I start at 9am and go till 9pm.. shift is usually 12 hours
Day two starts at 7am and goes to 7pm
Day three starts at 5am and I'll be there 5pm wed night. Drop the load first thing in the morning if not a 24 drop and hook and I'm on my way.. I'll be 700 miles. A k the other direction by the time other drivers arrive.Lepton1 Thanks this. -
8 in sleeper off duty 2 hr, broke in parts on each side of berth time or in full 2 hr block after berth time. i dont exceed 15 hrs off duty in one stint. break it up when I nap. then back to berth for 8 if the wait is that long

Some are a little log paranoid. I don't give a #### what the log examining person asks me I give a blank stare. It's very simple all the info they need is on paper right in front of them. Any supporting paper work? Sorry nothing to see here, sent a trip Pak in this morning.

I used to run two log books just in case the officer asked, " let me see your log books", Then I say, which one officer !
