Need help! I just started a heavy haul company, KeenCO, LLC
I have a 2010 peterbilt 367, 18 speed with 550 hp is Cummins engine. Right after we purchased it and put a load behind it we noticed antifreeze shooting out of the over flow cap. We replaced the caps, cleaned out radiator took it to two shops. Eventually some thing caused the engine to start to lock up. We rebuilt the engine, replacing head gaskets, etc. For 2 weeks it was fine and now it's dumping antifreeze again. It's hard to tell what it's coming out of. We replaced over flow cap again. Any ideas? At this point we've had 2 shops and 4 mechanics look at it. Thermostat was replaced, fan clutch was looked at and is fine

When we rebuilt the engine he took the heads to get put on the machine and tested. Said they were good.

I would start with a diesel combustion gas tester. That way you'll know if you're getting combustion pressure into they cooling system. Only time I've seen coolant shoot (and I mean shoot like 15') out of a rad was when there was a large crack in the head.

Another thing you could try is to pull the discharge line off the compressor. Those are water cooled and if they fail, could push air pressure through your cooling system. If you remove the line and it stops pushing coolant out the rad tank, then starts again once you reinstall the line. Compressor is the issue.

Tell you what, I have only ever put oil in a car or changed the tires. I've jump started one dead battery in my entire life. I feel like I have learned more about mechanics from studying for the pretrip written exam/walk around and from reading random problems people are facing on this forum, than I ever thought I would need to know.

This won't apply if it's actually shooting out, but if it's just disappearing check your EGR Cooler
