Home.headed south on 95 for Brunswick GA in the am. Second hurricane of the year. Kind of like it. Everything gets desolated, parking is easy, and slap in some window screens with the truck rocking in the wind makes for great sleep.

The sweet smell of clams makes it worth it. believe it or not the window screens block a amazing amount of rain. But I get what your saying. You guys with the APU's think you know everything:D

Lucky IC guys have trucks that allow you to move faster than a hurricane.... it's no threat to me in the Midwest. I'll keep flashing the Amish to move over when they pass me!!

Yes my wife and I drove team before there was a choice board for team, heck before even solo was available.

We drove team from 2004 til 2008 and were dispatched. Of course then freight was ridiculous and we'd do 7000 miles every week usually in 6 days.

We were paid mileage and fsc but we made decent money.

We used to run cigarettes out of Statesville area and also JCP to LA.

We then usually went North then back east and make another run.

Times were different as was freight. Paper logs and qualcomm only tracked 14.

I was curious if those loads are still run here at Schneider.

    No Statesville loads.
There's still cheap cigarette loads but they leave out of Virginia.

Home till Monday. Managed to get here way early. Probably because I ran both tunnels around Norfolk instead of listening to Jill.

To be fair, had I tripped the overheight sensor on 13s before Norfolk.. that would have been a very bad day.

Cheap cigarette loads should be an oxymoron because their safety protocols are ridiculous for hv
