They have to be disassembled. Sadly, all it would take would be a quick wipe with some carb cleaner to get that gummy gunk out/off, but it would require an injection shop to do this.
Stuck injectors?

I have a question on a DDEC V farm truck is parked for weeks and or months at a time. Maybe related to this
Tends to show codes like this: Inj. 1 Valid above normal Sid:1 FMI: 0 16X.
Inj. 6 valid above normal. Sid 6 FMI 0 7 X.
Inj. time rail, valid above normal Pid: 156 FMI 0 4X
It misfires and blows smoke under load at times. The it clears up and runs fine at all other times.
Could that be related to a sticking injector issue or something else?
Not meaning to step on Lowmax but wondering that same question of cleaning them and this one is still running? -

There is a check valve on the back of the 12.7 head. I would want to see the injector pulse in the data display screen of the scan tool tgere using or the poor boy way a noid light hooked to the injector solenoid while cranking. I agree they could be stuck. The only way to know is make sure ECM is firing them, proper fuel pressure while cranking and looking in the tank for bubbles in the return. It could be electrical just as easy
