My thoughts exactly not to mention those 2 weeks would have been miserable. I needed to take a DOT physical/drug test for the new job plus I needed to do a pre-employment agility test so needed to be home this week anyway. As I mentioned earlier, this new job is where I was hoping to get after a year of tanker experience. Cutting that time by more than half is a huge win for me and my family. I went into Schneider knowing it was a stepping stone and not some place I would retire from. If they wanted the respect of a 2 week notice they should have treated me with a bit more respect. Twice when I called in to complain about the shorting of unload fees I was hung up on. Once I was told "all I hear is blah blah blah" and then a click. The other time I was told " hello? we must have a bad connection. I can't hear you." click. True professionals in that office. I'm not saying it was all bad but some of it was unacceptable.
