I drive team for a FedEx ground linehaul contractor. Pay is all over the board some contractors try to rape drivers. I have seen anywhere from .39 to .55 per mile. Do not expect benefits other than vacation pay. I get .50 per mile and 125
00 week for travel expenses and cell phone. The truck has an inverter, microwave, refrigerator and in motion directly TV/DVD with all the movie channels. We age guaranteed 1000.00 a week regardless of how many miles we ran. Dedicated routes are only for contractors with enough points to get one. We are wild this can be a blessing for miles, but more times than not we sit at hubs anywhere from 6 to 24 hrs waiting on a load. If they could get their #### together on dispatching a driver could gross 1,800 plus a week in 4,5 to 5 days. As far as FedEx forcing things on contractors YES they do and DO NOT belive what they tell you. I did P&D for 4 years prior to Linehan that side really sucks.

Yes you can. If you get with a line haul contractor running teams. They have a driver training program they can do. Just need doubles endorsement and a clean DMV.
