    Thanks for the good info! I have a friend who's been driving for 40+ years and is now facing the need to take insulin for low blood sugar. Perhaps he too will be able to qualify for the waiver, as it sounds like he's not ready to quit driving yet.

    He kinda disappeared not sure why unless the insulin waiver was shot down for some reason which my guess would be insurance. Hope that isn't the cause though.

    oh im still around. im not currently driving commercially. We have a truck for our farm so i still get a fair bit of driving in. Next year sometime we might start hauling ag exempt stuff local since we have the truck and all anyway...

    I'm from Tennessee and complained a lot as I got older. I hate cold weather and tornadoes, so I moved to the desert in Nevada; 10 minute drive to the Las Vegas strip.

    oh its a wonderful life. get to work with my Dad and do a little farming and run some cows, drive truck too. and all in the beautiful foothills of northern al.

    My cousin retired from NASA in Huntsville. I've driven all over Northern Alabama delivering to grocery stores and then when I switched to tankers delivered to a few places around there.
