What kind of RPM's are you at when you're at your typical cruising speed?

    I drive a 2015 Cascadia with a DD15 with 10spd and 3.08 gears and pulling a reefer. I run at 1250rpm (63-64mph) and have a 7.56 90 day average. That's running OTR in the lower 48.

It helps a lot to figure out the sweet spot in the RPM range to maximize fuel economy and performance. For me, it's 1250rpm.

We pull 87,000 from Pocatello to Vancouver BC, and 76,000 back. We see more trips in the 5's than in the 6's . DDEC IV with low rolling resistance tires, etc. Speed, weight and terrain all matter.
