    So I'll be going OTR in November when I finish my course (Humber College in Ontario). I've put together a wishlist, and I'm curious as to what the more experienced truckers would add to it. Here's what I have so far:

    Car Vacuum Cleaner Portable 12V
    SiriusXM Radio
    Microwave
    Battery Operated Combination Carbon Monoxide/Smoke Alarm (need this as I don't have a sense of smell)
    Leatherman Multi-Tool
    Dash Camera
    Garmin 770 GPS Navigator

    I have a bunch of other stuff on the list (paper plates, plastic cutlery, can opener, baby wipes, etc.). Am I missing anything crucial, either insofar as safety, comfort or necessity is concerned? Thanks in advance for any advice!

    Maybe a laptop or tablet? I mean, you're bringing everything else.

    Right now, Love's is selling the XM Onyx for 80 bucks but it's got a $70 mail in rebate as long as you pay for two months. Pretty good deal. Wally World sells the good sat. radio antennas for $23.
