No,, they updated it.. it is an Original Note 7.. someone started a rumor that it was a replacement...
-
The easiest way to see if a replacement is the battery icon is green.
I have had mine for a few weeks and it gets charged to 100% and has never gotten warm. -
The replacements are no good also.
Att has stopped selling. -
And based upon what?
-
-
The one that caught fire has not been determined yet if it was a 2nd Gen or 1st Gen yet.
-
Okay. Keep telling yourself that if it makes you feel good but unless you think all the recent tech news stories are a part of a vast anti-Samsung conspiracy, a large company like ATT is not going to stop selling one of their former best-selling items just because it may be possible even 2nd generation Notes have problems too, based on unconfirmed reports .snowwy Thanks this.

There's been quite a few replacements already burning up.
Here's my link

One caught fire on a plane - nothing has been reported as to which one it was, it was suggested it was a 2 gen in error.
The other one - He says it was.. Nothing in the major news that I have seen.
I have Verizon and yes they have the 2nd gen Note 7's in stock and in stores. I walked in on 9/24 and got one with no problem.
For the one in KY - His story does not make sense... wakes up to room full of smoke, phone on fire... yet waits till later in the day to go to the Hospital... Then someone from Samsung sends him a text message to a phone that is toasted? Then he refuses to allow the company to get the phone....

The Minn girl says it was a late Sept replacement, does not say it was a Gen 2 Note 7.
I did notice that a lot of "underground" papers reporting this and it has jumped onto the tracks again...
