Rates are bad..I run the same area pretty much but every now and then I'll take a load up to ma or ct. It's like you have to have a big load somewhere in the week nowadays.. van freight sucks period but it's really bad here. 10 more months no more truck payments lol woosah

If Schneider has guys banging down the door to be an IC, why would they be putting lots of good paying freight out there for you guys? Let the company trucks haul to good paying stuff and let the ICs pick through the crumbs
Griffinator, BoostedTeg, driverdriver and 2 others Thank this. -
Well i did see a load to wintersville drop $30 and loads out of Richmond area drop but i dont really ever do those loads so idc.
I book within a somewhat small ciricle so i dont relly follow many areas. -

Has anyone noticed that a lot more loads are either unconfirmed or have small drop windows vs big one like they did before....I've been on all day and noticed more unconfirmed loads vs confirmed....
Home_on_wheels and TennMan Thank this. -
Do you use the mobile site or the desktop verson to search for loads? If you use the desktop version run 2 searches. First search is for confirmed load and search for the entire country. When the results pop up click the export to excel button. Open the excel file and do a simple average formula to see what the average per mile, total reveune is and length of haul. Excel is great for finding paterns and sorting data to see what's going on. Do this again for the Unconfirmed loads and see what it looks like.
I use to do this on a regular basis at the same time every day to sample the rates and loads for the entire country to see what the trends are. You'll start to notice if there is an overal upward, downward or staying the same trend after a few days of doing this. You'll also start to see total loads each time you do that and if the total number of loads goes up or down or stays about the same.
Doing this exercise really is the best way to see what the trends are on the board. Good luck and hopw you all stay profitable!WakeDL, paul_4lp, Griffinator and 4 others Thank this.
