The diodes age and leak after they get so old, shorts out the board.Usually they are able to recover all your stored info,if it hasn't gotten too bad. They were able to recover all my previous settings, plus I had them set the torque a hair higher. The ones that can't be rebuilt are usually ones that have been laying around, not been used for a while.Good luck, they were very fast on their turnaround, and truck ran great after I got it back from them.Keep us posted and let everyone here know if you get good service.Make sure all your connections are good on your wiring harness.

Good deal, seems most are rebuildable if they just konk out. It's when the sit for a while, and the moisture rots out the internals, then you can have real problems. They called me the same day they received mine and told me that also. Were they able to recover your settings, and give you a price?

They were not able to recover the specs, but I was able to provide them with specs. The price out the door was $1004.

Great to hear that, glad it worked out for you.Same fancy coating mine had, too.I know things aren't cheap anymore, but it is gratifying to have someone do what they say they're going to do,esp. in this day and age.Did they send you a hat, too?

I've got one that I think took a dump last week. Looks like I'll be sending it to Midwest to see what they can do.
