Any advice on this oil sample? Should I go ahead and do the bottom or just prepare for an Inframe? I am going to re sample in 7k miles as they suggest. I bought this truck from a friend of a friend and he claimed he did rods and mains 100k ago. It currently has 890k on it not 840k as the report says, I put the wrong mileage . 1998 12.7 Detroit. Doesn't use hardly any oil and loses no coolant and doesn't smoke out of that stacks at all no matter what load it's under. When I purchased this truck it had been sitting for a few months and I have no idea when the oil was last changed. Any advice is greatly appreciated!
Thanks

And this is my 09 Cascadia with about 655k on it
-
And I did just have work done to it so I do think that's why the silicon is high. Just had air compressor, power steering pump, 1 injector and high pressure fuel pump replaced. All in the last 4 weeks
-
I think your right just to wait and re sample. With all the work you had done it more than likely messed with your sample.
-
Well the second one is the one with the work done which I agree with the companies suggestions.....The first sample is the truck I just bought recently were they said they detected all the stuff in.

Has the Bull Gear been changed?
-
Did you change the air filter or is there an air leak that bypasses the air filter?
-
No I don't think so.
-
I have not I just purchased the truck and pulled an oil sample. Then changed the oil and filters.

Why did you do an OA after you bought it. You always do that before.
