Runing loads to and from Canada and NYC for Schneider

I may be signing on with Schneider as an OTR driver soon. This will be my first trucking job where I will be required to go in and out of Canada and NY city. Are there any Schneider drivers out there that could tell me how much freight or how often Schneider runs you in and out of Canada and NY city ? And can you tell me a little bit about the process of actually crossing the border ? What to expect ? Are there particular areas or places in the USA,Canada and NY city they will run me more often then others as an OTR driver ? Any extra information would be appreciated..
