Mine was leaking internally. Was $500 for the part and a simple job to replace. Mine worked but still leaked. I just replaced whole trans with a reman. It came with a new one already on the trans. My syncro was bad too so would have been $1600 to repair both with me pulling the trans myself. Renan was $3200 from eaton.

Stoped by international dealer in Salina KS and got both new hoses for $50. Will replace once I get home. We used a Napa hose and cut to fit. It's fine for the trip home but for the price of a couple more gallons of anti freeze it will be good as gold again.

Well he worked for 3 hours chasing back and forth. 4 gal 50/50 anti freeze and the hose was $100.00 that means he drove his service truck, answered his phone and supplied his tools to do the job for less than $100.00. Sounds perty reasonable to me? Heck I can't even buy that anti freeze at my own Napa for the $10.50 a gallon he charged me!!!

Started a little project today... After some calculating and measuring, the decision was made to notch the back of the headache rack for the curent muffler setup. My first choice would have been a weed burner but I don't want to deal with the soot. There is not much room under the truck because of the air tanks. I am going to put 1 5' box on each side of the truck also witch limits space even more.
I cut the rack part off and cut the Cabnit and welded it back in just like the factory. I will then make a filler panel for the remaing gap.singlescrewshaker, Ruthless, Road Killer and 1 other person Thank this. -
I honestly don't see how these OO run some of these newer trucks. I talked to a driver last week that bought a 2014 Pete last year with less than 300k on it. In his one year of ownership, he's spent $15,000 on repairs, all emissions related.
An extreme example is my 1994 KW W900. Its down right now because the ECM has took a dump on it's N14 Cummins. My 1995 FL has a manual 3406b Cat. As long as it has 12v to the fuel solenoid, it will run.
If you're dead set on a late model, best to buy new and trade before the warranty runs out.singlescrewshaker, Grijon, Road Killer and 2 others Thank this. -
Almost all done. Got a couple more places on the inside to weld. I'm also going to make a couple more shelfs.singlescrewshaker, Ruthless, Hurst and 4 others Thank this. -
A project like this albeit time consuming is well worth the effort one done.

My dad passed on Tuesday morning suddenly so headed to Portland Oregon to hang out with my sister for a week. So needless to say project on hold for a week or so?
