Flatbed midwest regional

I was heading for the midwest regional flatbed soon and was wondering about any input i could get. I heard something about the "triangle". What is it exactly, and is that mostly or somewhat your routing? I heard something about Texas . South Carolina and either Indiana or Ill. I did have someone on here say it's a pretty good route and i'll enjoy it.

 

I'm leaving tonight on the 12:55a bus from Columbia Mo. to Rochelle Ill. It's like a 14hr bus ride, yes, you read it right. I'm heading there for 3 days of Orientation and right after being shuttled for 2 days up to Gary Indiana for the flatbed training,...then Mentor. The Rochelle place is actually i believe a "Central Refrigeration" office/hub/terminal or whatever. I know Swift bought them.I was confirmed in the Midwest regional division. If anybody wondering, you don't get paid for the 1st day of orientation,..but you get hourly Minimum wage on the 2nd and 3rd day. You then also get paid that on each of the 2 days of flatbed training. THAT is better than the flat $100 ONLY i heard from the Swift rep at my school.

Thanks guys. I finished orientation up in Rochelle Ill, then was sent over to Gary Indiana for two days of flatbed training,..which ended up being only one day. Then the two other trainees and me met with the flatbed operations manager with the driver development lady on speaker phone. I have to say, it seemed pretty unorganized. One guys mentor was way up in the east coast,..and my mentor was way out in Utah with no loads coming this way. What the heck? The one guy was told he could drive home( only few hours away). I brought up how i live in Missouri along I-70 and i guess i could meet up there later. So,...after taking a LONG bus ride to Rochelle for a 3-day orientation...and 1 day flatbed,...it was another LONG bus ride back to mid Mo. Now, i'm supposed to be Regional flatbed,..shouldn't i be with a mentor in the regional group? Are they that short? I have another question,..I was told by recruiter that being midwest regional flatbed,..i'd be out around 2 weeks at a time. The guy doing the flatbed training said being regional flatbed,.. " It won't be nightly,...but probably 3-4 days out sometimes. WELL,..which is it? I know it's a big company,..but i admit i already am getting a little frustrated here.
