Have you had codes yet? Cuz mine didn't match at all.
And the pics and all that, at that time, had pickups and motorhomes. There was absolutely zero information regarding semis. Even the instructions for adding parameters didn't work. Or whatever it was i was trying to do. Can't remember now.
I had mine 3 years ago though. And only used it 3 months. It kept ruining sensors the whole time it was plugged in. Peterbilt recommended i stop using it. Never had a problem with truck after i threw it away.
At that time, the 2 softwares were totally different animals.

1st of all, and I'm speaking about Detroit engines, the codes are a closely guarded secret. You won't find them in the internet or in some store bought book. The codes you receive are almost impossible to decipher.
I've had a scan gauge d for 3 years and am on my 2nd unit. Only reason I'm on my 2nd unit is because the plug wouldn't fit on my 17 Cascadia. I contacted Linear Logic (the manufacturers of Scan Gauge) and informed them of the size difference for the plug. Sent pictures ave detailed descriptions. They didn't believe me so I told them physically try it on a 2017 Freightliner to understand what I was taking about.
Several weeks go by and they called me. Acknowledged I was correct and sent me a new unit with the modified plug and new software. -

I was gonna say I'm sure some mechanic out there has the codes posted. Or somebody.
The D I had, never matched the codes to the repair tickets. I think the codes were right. But the manual that came with. Never matched the faults to the repair tickets.
I never got the KR. To compare to the D. But probably would have if I'd thought I wouldn't experience ecm shutdowns and sensor burnouts again. -
snowwy Thanks this.
