carroll fulmer good ,bad?

Maybe they didnt like you. Carroll Fulmer is a good company.

 

I work for them now and they ain't perfect, but my dispatcher gets me through the house every 7 days. Pay ain't the best but compared to not getting a check at TSE I ain't gonna complain. Trucks are governed at 65 but its a 2012, and they're adding dedicated runs. I wouldn't recruit anyone to this company unless you absolutely need a job

 

Is this company as bad as you state, GreenChile? I mean for someone not to recruit anyone to a company has a lot to say.

 

There's nothing great about any trucking company these days...We practically drive the same styles, run the same loads, have the same crappy night and weekend load planning..The same ole suicidal Im going postal fleet managers thats about to shoot us all eventually..I mean the only difference in CF and the rest of them...Is the name..
Just as long I dont have to run no northeast..I'll run all over this country..you can all have that northeast crap

 

Hello so am on my way to work for this company. I have read both good and bad about it. For me the choice was Carrol Fulmer or Carolina Cargo out of Rock Hill,Sc. And there I know they start you out at 11cpm. So what would you ?

You're a name not a truck number, you can actually talk to the owner without fearing termination (just be a little respectful), they understand you're a human being not a robot, orientation is pretty fun if you shut the motor mouths up early on

Thanks man, you don't know what to expect when you read the reviews about a company. You can't make everybody happy. But I'm going to make a go at it and see for myself.I believe that I'm going to be okay.Thanks for getting back to me so fast. Will let you know how it goes.

Hey Vie, Everything seemed to be good in the begining, but now my GF is really sick and I am missing some work because of this I dont know how they are going to handle me missing work. I mean I know their trucks dont move they dont make any money, but hey I dont either. My GF has been given 6/1yr to live and that is hard to swallow. Ihave told my DM this but I guess he thinks im kidding. Life is nothing to joke with. I dont want to quit, I am now getting some help from her daughter. I like it here, but I DONT LIKE THEM CAMERAS!!!! Someone watching me ALL the time and YES they do watch you. I can deal with the slow trucks, but there is a LOT I dont like or maybe I should say dont understand. I have only been driving for a total of 2yrs. I have been home all week which makes two weeks now, but not in a row. I really dont want to lose my job I need the expierence before I can move on. Any from CF who reads this got any input.
