I have 4 trucks drive one 3 drivers pay 50 cents on all mile and am doing just fine.

 

And I guess your paying drivers on a 1099 also?

Not trying to be a d**k but you really haven't shared any knowledge. You grew your business off of loadboard freight when times were good and when volume and rates tanked you were hurting just like everyone else who doesn't have regular customers. Hope you didn't get too far in debt and lose your @** I know many have.

 

Hey, lease purchase has made many company owners rich, all the truck bills get paid and the driver gets nothing.

 

Let me see if I get this right. I could go get a job being a company driver for 50 cents a mile or I could buy a truck and lease onto you and work for less than 50 cents and have the responsibility to also take care of the truck. What a deal, where do I sign up.

The bottom line is, if you couldn't make it paying 50 cents, O/O that lease onto you can't pay themselves 50 cents. Now I'm not saying you won't be able to con some poor saps into pulling for you but it won't work long term if you don't get your rates up.
