I found OTR one of the easiest, and interesting jobs that I have ever had. I stayed with one company instead of job hopping. Been to 47 states and spent half of my time out west. Saw a lot, ran hard, and have no complaints. I prefer to be in my family's life. I want to be an integral part of my son's upbringing. I agree, it's not for me anymore. It got me home more often than when I worked in North Dakota and I saw the country with my dog. I will say if I have one complaint with the trucking industry is pay by the mile. Truckers aren't paid for all they do. But I enjoyed it, lots of good memories from the road, but time for new adventures.
