The cop probably assumed they were drank in the car?Earlier?

 

doubt that matters in my state. in Ohio if you have empty beer cans in the bed of a pick up, some chips have issued open container violations to everyone.

 

Maybe it was a British car?

 

I sometimes drive with fifty or sixty open containers in my car on my way to the redemption center to get my deposit back.
Never had a problem and I'm behind the wheel........

So, you were at a party where alcohol was consumed, left said party in a motor vehicle, took the evidence with you in the motor vehicle, then proceeded to rolled through a stop....

Anytime you have been drinking, obey all traffic rules... never give them a reason to do their job.

Just don't roll through a stop on your way there... and I do hope you are crushing those cans down... if not, you might have room for more than 60 cans...
