It sounded like he met up with a cop that sits near the first sign, and some are that way, and will write a warning.
Most of those will write for the money if it's obvious speeding
Got a written warning, what now?

Yea I'm very thankful he only gave a warning but now I'm a little worried my job will find out and axe me.
-
I'm still new to the company (6 months)
-
Is it in your company handbook? If it isn't, I wouldn't worry.

You're not saying how fast you was going. That could make a huge difference. Also if you're so worried then talk directly with your employer.I know I would.
-
Came off a 60 into a 45, I can't incriminate myself. If they find out they find out but I can't go in there and potentially get myself axed. Just can't afford that
-
I wouldn't worry about it.

Most states that's a reckless charge so you're lucky all you got was a warning..Read your policy handbook, there should be something in it about warnings and tickets I would think.
-
Wrong, Wrong, WRONG.
You have just been SCR EWED. When the CSA came along warnings are the same as a ticket to a CDL holder. You do not have to pay a fine but there are points assessed to your CSA score. You have 48 hours to report this offense to your safety officer. You also have the right to go to court and fight a warning but you will just end up having to pay a fine then. However, the officer might not show up.pigeon river trucking and pattyj Thank this.
