I am learning that warning tickets are worse then actual tickets. They automatically add points to your PSP score where as tickets you can fight and have removed.

    scottied67 Thanks this.

Asked the cop for a ticket instead of a warning and he refused. So talked to some friends of mine and they said easier for cop to write a warning to get his quota so he doesn't have to fight it in court. Who knows all I know is it stuck on your PSP for 3 years.

Rusty Trawler and scottied67 Thank this.

15 or more over as a "reckless" is not applicable in all states

In some states 15 or over is enough for bigger tickets. Certain speeds are also mandatory arrest in the two I come from. (*Ive exceeded them a time or two...)

Yer lucky it's only 12. But unlucky now that you have points piling up on your DMV.

If you are having more difficulties than normal, there may be something in your driving record, MVR or DAC that is holding you back. The following are examples of items that might keep a company from contacting you for employment:

1 or more felonies in your lifetime
    A drug related felony conviction
10 years or older felony conviction
    Child pornography related conviction
    Convicted of a violent crime
    Firearm related conviction
Murder / Rape / Misconduct / Burglary / Robbery / Capital Theft conviction
    Assault & Battery
Conviction/ investigated / or suspected of involvement in of terrorist activities
    Currently on probation or parole
More than $5,000 of damage from a preventable accident in last 5 years
3 or more moving violations in last 3 yrs
3 or more preventable accidents in last 5 years
Truck abandonment in last 5 years
License suspension is less than 3 years old
1 or more moving violations over 15 mph in last 3 years ***********
A DUI/DWI within the last 5 years or more than 2 DUI/DWIs ever.
Fired in the last 5 years
    Ever failed a drug screen

Amazed by this.....we routinely accept drivers with up to three points (3 moving violations, or 1 at fault accident). Do we charge them more than clear drivers.....of course.....but getting insurance is NOT a problem if you are a owner operator.....and on our fleet business we typically set driver criteria at 24 years old, 24 months Class A CDL and no more than 3 points.......we DAILY accept drivers outside the criteria for an additional premium.
