I think people are missing the point of this thread. Point is, I havent been interrupted once during my break and haven't experienced anything bad as of yet. Everyone's experience is different, some people like Ford some Chevy and that reason is the experience with the brand. I'm having a good one others not so much. I like the way they run others might not can handle it

There only paying 39 and 42 com with no guarantee so if I sit for a week I could make more than them. I want to see a company making more than 45cpm with a guarantee of 2500 or more miles. They might have a low turnover rate but was not everyone saying how I'm stupid for working for so cheap? So I want to see a company that matches or better pay with a low turnover rate, money is the game right?

These K&B threads are interesting. I often wonder if the people on the "K&B sucks" side of the fence would make it anywhere else. I also wonder why they question the folks that like driving there - one person's trash is another's treasure. That Bakari guy has posted pay stubs, Qualcomm pictures, and has detailed some of his runs. He, and others, are happy. Doesn't mean you or I would like the job and it doesn't make them recruiters either.

After a little digging I'll allow that for some people "polypahsic" sleep may work. However it comes with some catches - 1) anyone with cardiovascular issues is "strongly discouraged" from attempting that kind of sleep schedule and 2) you must rigorously adhere to your schedule.

There also hasn't been a lot of research done on long term impacts. Most of what I found in my not scientific at all research only show 30 day periods with small test groups.

You may find this interesting: https://www.supermemo.com/en/articles/polyphasic

Overall I still rate your statement that 4 hours of sleep with naps throughout the day is better than 8 uninterrupted sleep for most people to be unsupported and most likely bogus.

As for companies with guaranteed pay and at least 45 cpm - look at Nussbaum. At Schneider I make .45 with .03 quarterly bonus. No guarantee, but look at the whole package. Both companies are hauling DRY VAN. Reefer work should pay more.

I'm more than happy to let them do their thing. Ive met CRST and CR England drivers who are happy as a pig in a poke, good on them. Don't get it, but I like peach ice cream so who am I to judge?

However some of the statements in this thread appear to be either naive or intentionally misleading. That I have a problem with.

I agree. If the dudes, or dudettes, that work for K&B are happy there, why question it? They are the ones that have to support whoever they support, they are the ones getting up every morning. I haven't seen them say "K&B is the perfect company", or similar.
I could make more money than I do now. Sign on with an LTL, or similar. But I like what I do, and who I do it for. The plusses still outweigh the negatives. When that changes, then maybe I'll have to look elsewhere.

Wish I could thank this twice. YOU live with your job, not me or anybody else. Same here, I love my job. However, you might not. Seems like we're both respectively happy, doesn't mean I'd like your job and vice versa.

Another thing that should be added - I believe this site has the ability to track IP addresses. I'd almost bet they'd notice any shenanigans if a poster logged in from a K&B portal. Just my opinion.

First you want a company with less than 50% turnover, now you've moved the goalpost.
