tql owes me for a load they are refusing to pay me cause they say I never even hauled the load. been fighting them for last 2 months now.

I pulled a load picking up at a Starbucks it was a donation to a church. there was more then 1 load. Another truck got there first his load wasn't ready so they just gave them my load. I get there and load isn't ready so i wait 14 hours to be loaded. when they was done I ask for the bills and they tell me there are none its a donation so no bol. so I make a print out showing pickup and drop and commodity info and get them to sign it and deliver my load. soon as I asked for detention I don't hear back from them. That is until my factoring company which is recourse took back the money i was paid. tql is trying to say I never hauled that load. they wouldn't even look into it they said they would and get back to me and I never heard back from them.

So I reported then first to grab there attention on truckstop load board. a couple days later get a response saying the same thing that I never hauled the load. So for my response I explained what happened and I sent the pod again I also included my logs showing I hauled the load and the emails between me and the agent showing I picked load up. and now its been a week .and still no word. But I was told that TQL and my company don't work together anymore because I filed a complaint against them. which no big loss here finally they will quit calling my phone with low rate loads.

Also I have seen tql do this alot give them a bad review they blacklist you in retaliation. But what is so amusing about this is they take your phone number and put it in the system so when you call your calls are automatically forwarded to operations you cant even get to their automated system. he asked what my company name was which i found strange normally they ask for mc number. I told him and he immediately responded with our two companies no longer work together. like wow. They might find themselves short on carriers when things pick up ill never haul for them again.

Why don't you have blank BOL's? I wonder if you had one at the time you picked this load up, filled it out and had the shipper sign it if things would have been different.

I used to carry them but over the years I guess i took stuff off i never used. But I don't think that would have helped usually they compare with the companies normal bol and if they don't match it still throws a red flag.

I wonder what the other truck used for a BOL and if they are getting the same treatment as you.

I don't think they are they told me who hauled this load I think what happened was when they gave my load to them cause theirs wasn't ready they sent that in and I didn't get a new reference number for the other load so it looks like they hauled it instead of me that's what I think happened anyway.

File a claim on their bond right now and quit trying to reach TQL. Their MC record will have it on there, then look the surety company up online and find their claim process.

As long as you have your ducks in a row (rate con, driver instructions (TQL proof of dispatch), and POD), you should be good to get paid. Prepare any other supporting documentation as well. Emails, pictures, etc.

It's not a fast process. Although once that claim works it's way through being accepted and gets the attention of someone at TQL that matters, they'll probably pay immediately provided your paperwork is solid.

I thought you were required my FMCSR to have some sort of BOL for a minimum of description purpose for any load?
I also was always told to hand write one if none is available.

    KB3MMX and tlalokay Thank this.

Yes, as far as I know you are required to have a BOL, the only exception is if it is an exempt commodity, such as livestock.

Get the shipper / receiver involved. Send all 3 the same registered letter, with all the info / details you have. Brokers hate it when their customers get involved with problems like this, seems like you have no alternative. Good luck.
