Starting with USA

you never know i've seen trainers here that have been driving 8 month's,not nearly enough in my opinion.i had 2 the first one went on vacation halfway thru then they tried to assign me to a trainer who smoked,i don't so they sent me to shrevport from w.memphis.the trainer who smoked gave me a lift and was annoyed when he found out i could drive[drove for 3 years back in late seventies but could'nt verify so had to go to c-1].2nd one was dedicated from canton miss.to laredo tx.i drove from shreveport to laredo and back again the next day.only problem was when i drove i drove straight thru without stopping and he would lay in the sleeper watching dvd's and talking on the phone.when he took over in shreveport he would stop for fuel,drop and hook,talk [loudly]on the phone turn the truck on and off etc.not good for sleeping for sure.the reason i drove straight thru was when i started he told me if i did'nt piss him off i would be out of the truck in 2 weeks.those miles from dallas to shreveport were tough but i said to myself "HE'S going to ask me to stop for a leak"but he never did probably used a bottle i later surmised.i will not train 'cause i could'nt sleep with someone else driving no matter what the money.i'll settle for the 700.00 to 1000.00 clear that i'm getting now thank you.

 

i was a trainer at usx for 3 yrs.if you get someone u don't get along with just remember it's only a couple off weeks,then you get your own truck.some companys train there trainers about different personality's an conflict resolution.ask your recruiter about this.wish you luck
