$33.55 per hour at 62 MPH keeps me awake.. That's what we're making per hour when we're rolling and it's definitely enough to keep my attention.. That should increase shortly so my attention span will be even greater.. hehehe..

The trucks at my company range from 70 - 86mph, just depends on age. No idea about mileage as we slip seat all the time. We make zero money from moving freight, our trucks just allow us to get to our destination so we can make money.

Ok here goes company policy 68 pedal 70 cruise. Can be Higher depending on how long you've been with company. How high unknown.

that being said I was passed by a fellow company driver while I was going 75 on flatland.

Just a small crappy company, but capped at 80, and IMHO governed trucks spending miles passing each other is the single best argument against having governed trucks.

FFE had us at 63 which was revealed to be a secret speed governing because 65 mph on the dash speedo vs stopwatch did not compute and confirmed by GPS when were a few minutes late here and there as a team.

They never did open us to 72 for the presidents pets fleet but hat's ok. We found two other to run for that did 70 or better. No problem. Hauling million dollar loads in some secrecy, speed is good.

Our good ones go 72 which is nice for getting by slow pokes. Cruise maxes at 70 I usually leave it there and don't tire my foot out.

I've only driven an un-governed truck once. You definitely have to restrain yourself instead of mindlessly running it up against the governor.
