@Dye Guardian you need to make a copy of your response and save it somewhere for quick responses. You're his new favorite lol.

I hated tarping and was so excited when I got my conastoga. The excitement wore off the first time my dispatcher told me he was having trouble finding me a load because nobody in the area wanted to load one and I sat for 24 hours before we bounced 300 miles.

Conastogas are specialty trailers and I'm not a fan of them for 100% load board general freight.

Lepton1 and Dye Guardian Thank this.

Covered wagons are special yes, they can also be stripped to act like a deck flatbed. OR... left up to act like a dry van for say... 16 pallets of bagged salt at 5 layers to the pallet high.

Best use of wagons is either cowhide export or coil that cannot get wet going to Busch to be made into cans.

You can also circle them up for defense against attacking Indians.

You are talking about something entirely different. A conestoga can not be stripped without a days labor and over head crane.

Curtain sides are even more specialized. They are so out here, but few and far between.

Since the Cool Kids generally do not play well with others, they elected you as the forum's rep. I try not to bother you because you should be busy.
