    well to be honest guys..I know of 5 radios that had a tune all done by same person and rec seems to be worse..I know of one big $$ radio that was out done by a stock el cheapo radio...So im tryin to understand the value of lowering this floor db limit...I saw the vid and i sorta kinda understand but not haven any sort of electronics background or knowledge im not really seeing it..
    Other than to say he got a darn near virgin clean radio and him sayin excellent rec its not anything to make me say wow..

    A midland pro 510 on my antenna will outperform a Yaesu FT 857 on your antenna for a fraction of the price. Precisely why the antenna system is so critical.

    I agree on the ant...I have a pair of 7 ft skip shooter waitin for me to pick up the next time im through quebec but till then,im not sure the direction..Mark blew off that di pole idea when i mentioned it....So im just gonna try a different mount and put the 22" shaft on my 10k and lean it about 20 deg and hope the ant sees my door pillar as a ground plane of sorts.
