Straight truck should be Class B CDL.
I guess weight has to be less than 26,001 Gross.KillingTime Thanks this. -
Anything over 26grand and your a B. No matter how big, anything less and you dont need a cdl at all. May need air brake endorsement, and you will need a med card...
-
You need a med card for a C truck?
-
Some companies require it for insurance
-
Hazmat hauling Interstate between 10-26k needs a CDL C, over 26k needs a B, no?
-
Dont know all the ins and outs of haz work, gave up my endorsement a looooong time ago...
-
I know enough to figure out what placards I need, but these little trucks are a whole other world.street beater Thanks this.

Any hazmat u need at least class c w/ hazmat
Under 26k gross only class e even if it has air brakes. Think of all those penske/uhaul/rider trucks people rent
class b u can drive anything over 26k but can't pull a trailer weighing more than 10k -
There is no air brake endorsement only air brake restriction and it only applies to anything over 26k
