Are there any retired military not driving truck?
Seems like every driver I meet used to be in the military

You'll do 4 tours of duty in a place where everyone hates you and tries to kill you.
You can Skype with your wife and kids for an hour on Sunday
And when that's all over, you can drive a truck and talk all day to the ghosts in your head and still Skype your wife on Sunday.buddy32011 Thanks this. -

I'm looking into trucking. 20 years in Tha' Marines, four years of college. (Business Administration ~ Finance.
Had to BEG five days a week x 4 weeks to get a freaking job paying $8 an hour with a Temp agency at a automotive parts manufacturing plant.
Got hired on full time, moved up to QC inspector, then Team Leader. Put in for supervisor positions.
Was told I'm too educated, too SMART, too intelligent, too experienced. WTH!
I'll NEVER move up. 60 years old. Not interested in retirement ~ retiring.Crusader66 Thanks this.
