So Im guessing you didnt even bother to give it a try after checking with your analyzer.

Is that still not considered a mid load??Thats atleast a 6" top mast..If a short top mast makes it go from mid to top load ill just do the same as i did with my duel coil and have a short top mast 1/2 that size made..

Naw the #'s were wicket high...I actually thought the company asked to have it done like that..Then i found out it was freightliner and said figures....
Thats nothin more than an after thought,no tech was involved with that idea for sure...FL is after every mpg they can get so thats partly why they went there im guessing..
Up untill these last 5 or so yrs a cb was almost as important as the engine in a truck but now pppfftttt....Engines are choked off with emmissions junk,no metal and shaudy build and a cb/stereo n such dont work as well as it used to..

Mid load is a happy medium between good performance and structurally deficient.
I still think it's a waste of time using that mounting location on door unless you use what those other guys did with the dipole.
Believe it or not, I could make your short antenna work fine by adding a second one outside both rear fairings. (Just like my Volvo setup)

They came like that on the 2015 Wal-Mart Cascadias. Work about like they did when they were on the side of the sleeper. Walmart had them move them to the rear to avoid tearing up antennas in the auto truck wash.

    More $ - unknown result
I prefer to stay in the realm of what I know.
I end up spending less that way
