Of course I think people should uphold their contracts, I never disputed that - but there is a right attitude to have and a wrong attitude to have when it comes to those things. "They're just in it for themselves!" just makes me laugh. Owner Operators are in it for themselves. I'm in it for myself. You're in it for yourself, and your family, etc. just like everyone else. Companies don't exist to benefit other people, they exist to benefit the owners.

Good things happen when two parties with mutual interests partner together to make money for each other and themselves, and contracts are used to outline the rules both agree to. If one breaks the contract, the other party can sue. So yeah, if the carrier breaks the contract and screws the driver, yeah that's pretty shi**y of them, and the O/O can sue, etc. But to get mad at the company for existing, is also ####ty.

Both parties are being immoral in some way. Heck, everyone is immoral in some way. Everyone on Earth. So quit crying when someone wrongs you, just take care of the problem.
