Im on here after driving a couple years and trying to help. I think there is a law enforcement problem.

Green Transportation in Holland,MI has some type of training program.

 

My landlord/friend works for them, they do start-finish CDL training there. Pay isn't as much as you would hope for, cpm. But, the miles (and accessorial pay) more than make up for it. He's making quite a bit more than me... Everything they do is team operations, but I tend to think that's preferable for the type of freight they move.

 

What type trucks do they run? I read somewhere they're set up nice for the drivers.

 

He's got a real nice Volvo. Not my personal choice of truck, but he's thrilled with it. High end model.

 

I see nothing but rows and rows of Kenworth T680's sitting in the Waterloo, IA. truckstops waiting on Tyson loads next to rows and rows of K&B Freightliner's.

 

I'll run past their terminal when I go back to work on Thursday, to see what they've got.

Those Volvo's ride smooth. I pulled reefers and tankers with Volvo and the ride was really smooth.
