Now see here. I voted #### reagen and continue to vote. Just finished trump last week for better or worse.
Not all of us are carpetbaggers from the north. I made some decisions when the situation of marriage came up and we did some talking before I decided to do it. Leaving Maryland behind to Arkansas. It's been nothing but good for me and a touch of #### yankee for you LOL.
Now I do recognize there is a flow of people eastward from California bringing liberal poilicies with them, they ruined colorado, working on Texas and god help us Arkansas too.
Idaho is looking better and better.
Bring a gun while being over the road?

I found that driving a truck often results in the new driver developing a "WTF are you looking at attitude" which is the best protection at truck stops. DON"T keep your head down and avoid looking at people in the eye. Criminals have a name for those people, victims. It should be uncertain if you are armed or not armed to anyone but you. Lastly, don't buy or sell drugs, stolen items, are hang out with anyone that does those. 90% of the problem is solved.x1Heavy Thanks this.

In places like Jersey city we used to build a group of 5 or more then walk to the eat. I don't deal with them anymore thankfully.
There is a specific set of body language that tells me you are potentially armed my favorite are two. A short arm swing at your gun hand side and your picking at the holster under the pant or shirt whatever it may be. Pick pick pick. You also tend to swing your gun hip away from running children who ram into you by accident then squeal DADDY WHY THIS MAN HAVE A GUN where the entire freaking store knows now... (Don't ask...)
Predators can read a human body faster than any shrink in a few moments. You are already under attack if you are prey or victim. Just don't know it yet. If you are lucky, they would just klock you and lights out so you don't have to suffer the violence. -
The people in California are happy to give away any right so long as their benefits keep flo

When this topic comes up there is always someone claiming the last time they entered a military base or some other facility the driver reported his gun to the guards and they held his gun until the driver leaves. There is also almost always another driver reporting guards refused to hold the weapon and denied entry to the facility. I have a feeling from reading this that often the "guards will hold it" message is an older experience than the "guards wouldn't hold it" message.
Has anyone personally experienced "guards will hold your weapon until you leave" in the last year? Or is this a warm memory from the old days? -
Military Bases.
No guns. The one base near me is a combat post as well as a training post. They are also a Federal Installation. There is nothing that says I can try and carry my colt onto that base. I won't. When I go to airshows down there annually, that base has more than enough fire power to deal with the bad guys. One time after 9-11 they were in Delta and that would NOT be the time be fooling with guns. Not with two 50 cal bunkers eyeballing you.
I just wont carry on there. In fact I have no plans to be on a base or installation when armed. The VA is the closest and as long they do not scan every car Im good. -
Exactly, you must obey the gun laws in every jurisdiction you occupy or travel through. There are seldom signs to indicate EVERY jurisdiction and their laws. You can only be legal if you are unarmed everywhere or if you are a retired cop with a badge authorized to carry. Everything else you'll be legal or illegal someplace.

Now, you just need to get close enough to put that in a bad guy's ear.

10 feet or less , killed a nice buck with one , of course it helped that he was paralyzed .

Well, to start with, common sense allows one to understand that I was not talking about laws, but about the way people who have guns act.
Common sense is understanding the laws about use of a gun, and what is Wild West mentality.
Common sense is being able to make your own decisions, not just parroting the patriotic words to attack someone who doesn't agree with you.
Common sense is realizing that just because I am encouraging people to learn and understand the law with deadly weapons, whether they be 80,000 pounds or 180 grain, and to critically think through things, does not mean that I am one of those "other people" who want to take your rights away.
But, in the absence of common sense, I can't expect this to be understood...x1Heavy Thanks this.
