The lady that told you that is WRONG. Maybe that's Millis policy, but not every companies policy.
You do have a automobile drivers license don't you?
Wait until you get the green card and then apply to a dozen or so other places.
Put you location on your profile so we know the hiring area you live in.

    Claysapparel and Wally1986 Thank this.

How fast were you driving when you got the ticket; how much over the speed limit?

21 over is a serious problem with trucking companies. That's considered reckless driving or unsafe driving. Most companies won't hire you with a ticket that bad so recent.
Your best chance is to attend a private or community college cdl school then apply with second chance companies. There's some cheap cdl schools around your area. Google :cdl schools Milwaukee, WI
Companies don't just check your state for tickets, they check nationwide. Sometimes a person can get away with it if it's not on their state MVR, but most get caught, then fired.

I'd shop around for a cdl school in your area. Some drivers in your situation found jobs on Craigslist or with Carolina Cargo or Carolina Logistics.. You'll find work, but may not be the most desirable, but at least it's work and can start gaining experience.
    TransAm
    Carolina Cargo
    Carolina Logistics
Craigslist - plenty of companies around Chicago will hire you if you graduate from cdl school.

If you enroll in a cdl school, start submitting online applications during the first week of school.
Those Craigslist jobs you'll probably have to call; they may not have online apps.
One driver in NYC has a lot of tickets and he found a job on Craigslist hauling produce out of California back to east coast.
