back in the Good Life City........learned some stuff last week.....
1. Whatburgers are awesome.......kicking 5 guys and steak and shake off the top spot
2. Silom Springs has a very nice casino
3. If it can break, it will break.....soooooooo.....$500 later.

gonna take a few days off and bask in the Trump glory.......

 

home day 2.

instead of enjoying my time off and seeing friends and living my life, I get to try and salvage my financial life back.
over 2 months ago I lost my wallet at a grocery store. cancel all the cards and kept and eye on transactions. Nothing, crisis averted.


2 month later:
Someone goes shopping at Best Buy using a card that should have been shut off.
I'm getting hard inquiries on my credit and last night charges started going through on my debit card.
Just when I finally get ahead, immediately 20 steps back.


The kicker is that a canceled card does nothing for online purchases if the vendor doesn't used the 3 digit code on the back and my replacement cards are the same numbers as the ones I lost.

They bought a computer, printer, and an office program with my best buy card and then used my debit card to sign up for Internet with Comcast.

Best Buy was absolutely worrhless in helping me. They were snotty and rude and all but accused me of lying. The thieves ordered the stuff off best buys website and had it shipped to one of their stores, but then refused to tell me whether or not "I" picked it up or "They" picked it because of "privacy laws".

So today I get to freeze my credit, file a police report, close all my bank acounts, pick a fight with citibank about how a shut off card was able to buy products at their store, and deal with the best buy that the thieves picked up their stuff from.
