So you are the one giving bad attitude to the otr drivers, shaking your head and thinking why they dont know what to do even tho its their first time in the yard. also thinking that im a yard jockey im the king of this place, i dont care what you are doing , when i need to pass get out of my way. Yard jockey the almighty.
Btw $20 is good hourly pay for what you are doing .alghazi Thanks this. -
Standing together wont work cause there will always be a sucker accepting those rates or low cpm jobs.
On my part i try to stay over $1.4 per mile around low balling areas. -
Try it sometime and see how long it takes before your attitude goes in the $hi##er and your shaking your head!CrappieJunkie Thanks this.

I was just kidding with him. I know after dealing with bunch of driver suffering from lack of iq, that kind of attitude develops. but at the same time assuming that we all are stupid is a mistake. dont you forget you used to be that guy wandering around the yard.CrappieJunkie Thanks this.

I ran flatbed so I didn't have to deal with big DC's and the like but when I arrived at a customer that I'd never been to before I would check in and say "I've never been hear before. What do you need me to do?". Usually worked out best for both parties!
Ruthless Thanks this. -
Im talking about the rookie phase and you are telling me that you never did a mistake when you first started??

Actually, the drivers I do assist tell me Im the nicest person in the have dealt with. I help slide tandems. I will help get into tight spots. I dont give directions (i have you follow me). I will wait for you to get in and out of a door. I have waited a half hour before and I will turn my lights too. But thanks for assuming you know me.
