Are you referring to Maverick USA (the flatbed carrier) in North Little Rock, Arkansas or Maverick Transportation in Pine Mountain, Georgia?

I worked for them, great starter company to learn how to be a good flatbedder. Sucks as a long term career.

I just started driving for maverick a couple of weeks ago, and i have nothing bad to say about them, they are a very driver focused company and in my opinion, they are a hell of a lot better company than the last two i worked for.

What kind of miles do you get at Maverick? Do you get paid weekly or bi-weekly? Do they have you waiting a long time between loads? Are the trucks equipped with needs such as fridge, tv, ect. How about benifits and bonuses, what are they like? I know I've asked a great deal of questions, but these are things I would appreciate. Thanks

well, most drivers expect to average around 2400 miles a week, but remember that it all depends on the freight, so you can have more or less than that. their dispatch system is set up to run drivers during the week and they try to get everyone home for at least 34 hours every weekend, but again it all depends on the freight. payday is every friday. the trucks dont come equipped with tv's or fridges but i don't know any company that does equip their trucks with them. they have a pretty good benefits package, medical, vision, 401k, short and long term disability plan, good stuff like that. bonuses, they have a fuel bonus program, and referral bonuses. i hope i was able to answer some of your questions.
