I could not find any wife in Jersey. They usually need to eat more and screech less.

I did have one gal who was my age saying she will want me to visit when I was in NYC. I have not to this day managed to figure out how to stash a semi in downtown midtown and still make a good visit for a few days with her.

I suppose if I did that she and I would have a dozen kids who will each have a dozen by now. Funny how life goes sometimes. And a little more serious as to how easily you can have someone go away from your life.

I miss her even when Im up there in NYC because she was a good girl from the same county I was from. That's pretty good place to start in a place like Jersey...

 

I just happened to get a room in a blizzard and she was the motel lounge bartender.

When I was hauling cars for the Santini Brothers / United Van Lines, at times I had to deliver a car in the city. I would park at the Vince Lombardi, drive the car to the owner and catch a bus to the terminal then catch the bus right to the Lombardi. The last time I delivered within sight of the U N bldg. I walked all the way to the terminal. I got strange looks in my camo army coat.
