Pilot Points System Needs Overhaul

Well. I just threw out two big trash bags full of the philburr mugs. That was a nice promo for last month. Spent a whole of $6 on coffee all month with 2-3 cups per day. Too bad it's over.

 

From Pilot email, they say you get 100 points per fuel transaction (minimum 50 gallons max 3 transactions per day) when fueling with the app.

My question is - are these 100 points in lieu of the 1 point per gallon we normally get, or in addition to?

 

Ok. But does it ALSO give you 1 point per gallon like it does when you do not use the app? (Effectively earning about 2 points per gallon on a 100 gallon fill up)

 

I thought the 3 cents per gallon was only for auto users at the gas pumps. But anyway, to me, from what I can gather about using the app, it does not seem to be all that much of a "time saver" Vs putting in a few entries at the pump or fumbling with tiny smartphone keys trying not to make any typing mistakes. So if I'm going to trade my point per gallon for 100 points per transaction ... no thanks.

 

Ok dude. Why could't you have worded it that way the first time? I asked a simple yes or no question but got a yes and no series of replies based on the wording or lack of.

But I still stand by my understanding that the 3 cent discount is not applicable at the truck pumps. If this was the case, my company would demand all their drivers use the app.

 

It just depends on what company you work for I get 1 point for every gallon of fuel I get from pilot flying j. so if I get 150 gallons at one fill up that's 15 dollars on my card.
