108 inches of copper wire should do the trick. Tune one up top to the wire below, then move it down below and add the other element and tune to the first one. Then dispose of the copper wire.

wire up top is fine. check against 108" wire for resonance.

from what i see online usually dipoles are same ant or wire lengths on either side of some sorta junction box that the coax connect to...Im useing 2 different ant..A 4.5 ft non tuneable tip fs and a predator or i can use a 5 ft tuneable tip fs..Neither of which is high enough.

Well i tried..I lost..swr is through the roof..resonance is at best 3.5 and resistence is 7.1..Best i could get doin this di pole bs..
I used 4 different ant in total with very little change..3 fibreglass ant and my 10k
It might be me,it might be the truck,i dont know...I finally have to give up and just go with the tall ant mount and be satified with the 4-8 mi ..
    My 1st attempt was 2- 5 footers,then a 5 footer and a 4.5..then my 10 k with a 4.5 footer..Basically sweet eff all changes..Had better results with tall ant mount..
