weekend fm from us xpress

I'm near the point where I have a choice in the matter, I mean a real, legitimate choice that doesn't involve quitting without a plan simply because I got mad and handled it like a child (my inner millennial: rage-quit.... Lol). Beyond chewing the FM for giving me garbage that Net Ops should be dealing with, and screwing my drive clock: THE ONLY way I earn anything, I had little recourse but to bite the bullet. He's aware I'm not a fan.
On the other side of the coin: I finished dragging a wagon of booze from St. Lou to Greensboro yesterday afternoon. Dropped it there for someone else to do a 0:0, $20 run-it-across-town job. While I was moved onto another 850 miler. So letting him know that I don't want that gig, and proving I can move has worked out for the time being.
I'm not easily suckered, but nor do i refuse loads (Another rant for another time: The 48 States guy that tells his FM he won't run a certain region.)... 11.5 months down. That glowing red sign above the door says 'EXI.....' The clarity of that last letter won't be long in coming.

 

You'd appreciate this. Some folks don't have any eye at all for detail... Or apparently a concept of time.
