    Im still home..Just jumpin in the shower..100 miles to get my.trailer then down the road i go..Not gonna see pa till late mon night now..Besides rabbi is like 45 min away from my route..To far for.me to expect anyone to drive just to help me with ant bs..Ill make due for now...
    I changed out to marks coax but im still next to house and power lines so i did a quick tune...I think i kinked or squished my coax and that might have made my readings all wonky..

    Someone asked about the predator and 40" shafted ant mount working..Specifically in my case my range is not what i expected..Now bored silly is doin much better..

    no 9" shaft on a key down antenna total height with the 40" mount is 102" bottom of the mount to the top of the stinger

    So then you're saying he needs a balun at the feed point? Is there anything that would work that's smaller than an "ugly balun"?

    Not sure how 468 relates to the speed of light, but I prefer the more accurate calculation.

    A mini balun would work.

    I am guessing you guys know what I'm talking about and don't need my input.

    I don't get you. These are established formulas and work, using physics formulas don't work.
