Another mad girlfriend/wife thread. Anyone hauling Midol?

 

well that's partly true .L/P in a whole is bad in my opinion shouldn't be done.I had a truck and step leased on there for a while several years ago.i knew how they did things to much truck payments don't get a say in what truck you get,maintenance fund you don't have a say in what gets fixed or how if you need tires they decide what you get if they have used tires that what you get.they also had final say about loads you picked on where they were going or any broker loads you wanted.since I had my truck and trailer it was a decent co.dont no how L/P guys make enough to make it worthwhile especially new ones with all the dedications and your succurment payments another $2000 truck and trailer payment insurance,tags.there was someone on here making it sound like he was doing great seen he only lasted a year tho.

That guy was smart enough to quit instead of waiting and getting in more debt.
Van side its easy to find loads but flatbed side work a lot different than van and the loadboard is way too weak. I keep saying the same thing but favoritism is another big issue there.

Haha, nope sorry to burst your bubble. Just giving my experience there. I only worked there for a couple months but I didn't lease a truck, I brought my own truck over.
I thought I wanted to get into flatbed and liked the loadboard and percentage pay so I gave it a shot. It wasn't horrible at all, just had to make phone calls and search for loads. I got several very good paying loads and several poor paying loads as well that was a direct result of me going into bad areas. In the end, CRST Malone gave me some training and sent me on my way. I made some decent money but turns out flatbed wasn't for me.

 

another L/P horror story? Hmmmm....
